POST-CONFERENCE ANNOUNCEMENT

GET READY FOR EUROPE

Building Skills, Expanding Opportunities, and Uniting for a Stronger Future!

On January 30, 2025, we had the honor of hosting the Get Ready for Europe conference, a transformative event designed to prepare Ukrainians for a successful future in Europe. The conference served as a crucial stepping stone for integration, growth, and mutual success, uniting key thought leaders, educators, policymakers, and community activists dedicated to empowering Ukrainians and supporting their integration into European society.

The event focused on the tremendous potential of a well-informed, qualified Ukrainian community, highlighting their crucial role in the future of the European Union. Through specialized education, professional development, and adaptation to new conditions, Get Ready for Europe aimed to equip attendees with the skills necessary to thrive in the EU and actively contribute to Ukraine's economic and cultural reconstruction.

Key Takeaways:

  • Investing in human capital is not just an economic strategy—it’s essential for fostering resilience, innovation, and prosperity. The conference highlighted the importance of education in empowering Ukrainians to navigate the European landscape and contribute to both the EU and Ukraine’s rebuilding efforts.

  • Panel discussions addressed critical topics such as the future of Europe, lessons learned from past enlargements, and the key role of education and training in integrating 5.4 million Ukrainian refugees into the EU.

We were privileged to hear from distinguished speakers:

  • Vsevolod Chentsov, Head of Mission of Ukraine to the European Union

  • Olivier Willocx, Member of the Brussels Parliament

  • Alina Kokhanko, Founder, Ukrainian Voices RC

  • Petras Auštrevičius, Committee on Foreign Affairs

Get Ready for Europe

Building Skills, Expanding Opportunities, and Uniting for a Stronger Future!

As part of the European Perspectives Academy project, our mission is to provide high-quality, customized education to Ukrainian refugees, empowering them to integrate professionally and socially into European society while harnessing their skills to meet the demands of the European labor market. By equipping them with world-class education, we aim to foster expertise in European disciplines and create pathways for their active involvement in Ukraine’s economic and cultural reconstruction.

Through this, we are not only supporting Ukraine’s path toward EU membership but also enabling refugees to play a pivotal role in rebuilding their home country, leveraging the knowledge and experience gained abroad to drive sustainable growth and lasting change in Ukraine.
